What is 3D printing?
3D printing is an additive manufacturing process in which an object is built up layer by layer from a digital model. Unlike traditional processes (milling, casting), the product is created by adding material — hence “additive”.
How does it work?
Simply put: a digital 3D model is divided into ultra-thin layers. The printer then builds the object up layer by layer — similar to a very precise hot-glue gun drawing a computer-controlled pattern. At PRINEN we use the FDM process (Fused Deposition Modeling) with proven filaments.
Why 3D printing for your products?
- No tooling costs: every product can be different — without expensive moulds or casting forms
- On-demand production: we only produce after your order — no mass production, no warehousing
- Maximum individualisation: name, text, colour — every product is a one-off
- Small production runs made economical: even small quantities are possible without surcharge
- Proven materials: PLA and PETG for everyday use
