Braille & tactile identification
A personalised tag for everyday identification, a visual/tactile combination or a small run with different labels: choose an existing product or discuss your specific task with us.

01
Standard item or individual project?
Use the shop when a tag and its available options suit your task. For a different format, several labels, combined visual/tactile features or a teaching component, start with an enquiry instead of assuming that every change is included in the standard item.
Describe what needs to be identified, who will use the object and how it will be handled. We assess manufacturability and discuss a suitable next step. A material choice or photograph alone does not establish tactile suitability.

02
Wording, sample and acceptance
First clarify the exact wording, language and relevant Braille convention. If you already have a checked transcription, mention it in the enquiry. Longer text requires a suitable format; reducing Braille cells simply to fit is not an adequate solution.
For custom work, agree a suitable physical sample and acceptance criteria. Transcription, finished geometry, tactile reading and handling need competent review for the intended use. Colour contrast can support visual orientation but does not replace tactile legibility.
This is not a blanket compliance, readability or durability guarantee. Safety-critical, regulated or standard-specific signage requires separate assessment and evidence.
03
What to include in your enquiry
For a first enquiry, include:
- Intended use, object to be identified and handling.
- Exact text, language, Braille convention and any checked transcription.
- Relevant dimensions, attachment and visual/tactile requirements.
- Quantity and differences between individual pieces.
- Required-use date and what a sample should demonstrate.
For several versions, paste one row per version into the enquiry message: version · quantity · exact text · colours. We agree any file handoff personally. Please do not include passwords, access credentials or unnecessary personal information.
Custom projects receive an individual feasibility assessment and quotation, not a general fixed price, minimum quantity or delivery promise.
Questions before ordering
Which Braille convention can I request?
Tell us the language, convention and any checked transcription. Requirements and a suitable execution must be clarified for the specific project.
Can I order a longer label?
Ask before choosing a format. A general character limit does not prove that the wording will fit with suitable Braille geometry.
Can a batch use different names?
Send a list assigning wording and quantity to each version. Feasibility, specification and the final quotation are agreed individually.
Can you make teaching components or special labels?
Describe the intended task and handling. These start as feasibility enquiries, not a ready-made educational, compliance or safety promise.
